Worship Services

Worship is an essential part of our life in Christ. At any given Resurrection service, you'll find a lively community of men, women and children of all ages. As we are all welcomed first by the unconditional grace of God, we are glad to welcome you to our worshiping assembly.

Worship Schedule

Worship
Saturday at 5:30 P.M.
Sunday at 8:15 A.M. and 10:45 A.M.

Discipleship Hour
Sunday at 9:30 A.M.

Attire

You are free to dress as casually or as formally as you prefer. We're happy to have you with us either way.

Worship Style

Our style of worship is vibrant and energetic, as well as reverent and relevant. Our worship has been described as "lively traditional," as we follow the ancient pattern of Christian liturgical worship, while making use of both contemporary song and classic hymns. A new hymnal resource, Evangelical Lutheran Worship, combines the rich Lutheran musical tradition with new songs and a global awareness of the wonderful diversity of Christian worship and song. We are also blessed with excellent musicians and choirs who lead our congregation well.

Holy Communion

Because we need to feel God's grace and forgiveness in our lives as often as possible, Resurrection celebrates Holy Communion at every worship service and everyone is welcome to share the meal with us. We believe God sets the table for the sacrament and that it is our job and our joy to give it away on God's behalf.

Our Worship Service

The Service of Holy Communion follows a pattern that has been used by generations of Christians.

Worship Aids

We print a user-friendly narrative bulletin which guides you through our worship and explains the meaning of the liturgy. We also have large print bulletins and assistive listening devices available for those who need them during worship. Our ushers will gladly help you find them if you desire.

Nursery

Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to join us for worship, but we realize they often have different plans! A safe, staffed, fun nursery for children ages 0 -4 years is available during both Sunday worship services, and throughout the 9:30 Discipleship Hour between services.

You're Invited

We gather in worship to encounter God. We're confident you'll find something relevant, meaningful and even transformational here at Resurrection. Whether you're a "traditional Lutheran," a new Christian, or a hungry soul with many questions, we trust you'll hear, pray, sing or share something that matters while we're together. We hope you'll join us!
